The first spas of the wold, were the thermal springs of Ancient Greece, the Asklepiia, where Holistic Medicine for the treatments of soul, mind and body was applied and taught.

Doina Argatu, the founder of Onar Wellness, was inspired by ancient Greek wellness rituals and the philosophy of kallos to create a brand that delivers these ancient secrets through innovative spa therapies and products. She envisioned a high-end skincare brand dedicated to "Kallos," the Greek ideal of wellness, achieved through scientific innovation and transformative spa therapies.
Doina brought together a team of scientists and experts to launch Onar Wellness, carefully sourcing ancient Greek recipes with data from the University of Archaeology in Greece.
Years of research and cutting-edge cosmetic technology led to the creation of products and spa services that celebrate Greek wellness and promise holistic, visible results. Sofia, with 25 years of experience, is a dedicated traveler exploring Greece to study and document its enduring herbs. She began her career in 1995 in a pharmacy laboratory, preparing homeopathic medicines, essential oils, and phytotherapy preparations.
Inspired by the philosophy of aromatic plants for a more natural and balanced lifestyle, and driven by her love for nature, she has expanded her knowledge through extensive education at Dominion Herbal College, Oxford Learning College, and the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada.
With her expertise and commitment to traditional practices, Sofia creates unique botanical blends exclusively for Onar Wellness, inspired by ancient Greek recipes and offering valuable aromatherapy experiences.

Protocol: Over a period of 8 weeks, 6 healthy Caucasian women (phototype II and III) aged between 43 to 59 years old applied it twice a day, in the morning and evening, on one volar forearm (the other volar forearm was left untreated).The results show that the hyaluronic acid content of the samples treated for 8 weeks is significantly 14% higher than that of the untreated samples.
